Great Internship Opportunities with DJ Sir Thurl

DJ Sir Thurl is looking for interns to introduce, teach and possibly become apart of his organization. Several areas of internships are available for 90 day cycles with 30 day evaluation periods. These are not paid internships, but they are hands on, powerful network building, real experience gaining roles that could lead into a paid position in DJ Sir Thurl’s organization. Information is below.

Office Assistant Interns:

This is a great internship for people who are interested in office management and administrative careers. You will learn the ins and outs of everyday business, which could include clerical, filing, data entry, answering phones, making calls, checking emails, etc. Everyday is something different in the office, so duties will vary. For this internship, you must be available between the hours of 10am-3pm M-F. You can pick your days and how many hours you want to work.

Promotion Assistants

This is a great internship for people who are interested in marketing and promotions. You will learn the day to day operations of running a promotional mission as well as hands on planning, coordination, and execution of daily activities. This internship can require late hours and transportation may be necessary.

DJ Assistants

This is a great internship for people who are interested in becoming a DJ or a Host. You could learn to set up and break down equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures, hosting techniques, library management and more. You will also participate in the day to day activities involved with being a DJ, like checking emails, listening to music, and returning phone calls. You must be a self starter and “go getter” for this position. Tardiness will not be tolerated. Must have reliable transportation and some late night hours will be mandatory.

IT Assistants

This is a great internship for people who are starting off in the fields of Advertising, Marketing, PR, Web Building, Graphic Design and/or HTML. This is a great way for you to network with the right people as well as gain more experience in your field of interest. Availability hours are very flexible for this internship.

Internships are offered year round and are divided into quarterly sessions. These internships are available to students and adults who meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have interest in mass communications, marketing, sales or related field
• Enrolled in a college/university program for the specific purpose of gaining school credits or grades toward a degree OPTIONAL but is a PLUS!!!!
• Have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Recording Industry
• Dress appropriately for a professional work environment (no saggy pants, flip flops or see through clothing)
• Posses a positive and professional attitude
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have some computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc.)
• Having access to a computer (preferably a laptop) is a PLUS!
• Having a mobile phone and a vehicle is a PLUS!
