DJ Sir Thurl (Devon T) assisted in organizing The Male Leadership Conference. The Male Leadership Conference is an annual event at Westview Middle School. A group of supportive community members committed to helping student scholars succeed named Board of Friends organizes the conference.
Invited guests include middle school scholars and youth organizations in the area. Then male leaders talk to young men about the making the right life choices . Full of questions about life, the young men were engaged.
The scholars were also excited to get answers to questions in one-on-one sections. The even learned how to tie a tie. Speakers included Life Coach Renell Parker, Keynote Speaker Darnell Marshall, Violist Dr. Saint Rice and Pastor Tony Jefferies.
Westview Middle School is located near Ferguson, Missouri in the Riverview Gardens School District.
