The Journey
The Official Party Starter’s credits range from working on several radio stations, DJing some of the biggest concerts to appearing on BET’s Rap City along with receiving several appreciation plaques from major recording artists. He has also toured the country as a DJ for recording artist Murphy Lee.
DJ Sir Thurl is a graduate of Ritenour High School and St. Louis Community College at Forest Park. He is a proud father first. His message is simple: promising, lifelong success is built on having a foundation, education and consistent hard work. Your name means everything.
More than a DJ
Growing up in St. Louis, DJ Sir Thurl developed a desire for community outreach; to teach young adults life skills to help them succeed. His passion has led him to mentor teens and tweens with the Board of Friends organization, speak on school tours with the 100 Black Men and Authentic Marketing and Promotions and he is in process of launching his organization to provide resources to families in need.
His spiritual gifts are administration and service, which leads to the ability to organize tasks and groups with a vision of an overall goal in mind.
